Klawitter,danzig

Hi Chuck and thank you very much for the adresses you sent. I know that I had relatives in Nebraska, Paul Klawitter who died in Seward 1979. His father was Emil Klawitter, a Lutheran pastor. Paul´s oldest daughter was Esther Walz. I do not know more people after Emil, but there is especially in Nebraska, Ohio and Minnesota. I am also interresting in Danziger relatives, if there is any. My Klawitterbranch belonged to the "poor" Klawitter. Did your relatives also had the name Klawitter in Danzig?
Gruss Inga.

Hi Inga,

Hi Chuck and thank you very much for the adresses you sent. I know that I

had relatives in Nebraska, Paul Klawitter who died in Seward 1979. His
father was Emil Klawitter, a Lutheran pastor. Pauls oldest daughter was
Esther Walz. I do not know more people after Emil, but there is especially
in Nebraska, Ohio and Minnesota. I am also interresting in Danziger
relatives, if there is any. My Klawitterbranch belonged to the "poor"
Klawitter. Did your relatives also had the name Klawitter in Danzig?
----------Inga, No, my family from the Danzig area was Braun and Parpart.
I know at one time Parpart lived in Danzig but Braun came from South of
Danzig in a little village called Alt Christburg in Kreis Mohrungen.
So, you live in Sweden. In 1952 when I went from Germany to Helsinki
for the 1952 summer Olympics, I took the train to Copenhagen, then a boat to
Malmo, then train again to Stockholm. From there I went by boat to
Turku/Abo. I had a very nice time in Stockholm. I'm an amateur radio
operator and talk to people in Sweden all the time. I've been told that
there is now a bridge between Sweden and Denmark.
Hope you have good luck with the Klawitter's.
Regards,
Chuck Braun
