It looks like a beautiful place. How far is this from Neuenkirchen, Meck-Strelitz? I wonder if there could be a connection between Gerry's Kuhlow family and mine? Was the name Kuhlow common to Mecklenburg? I rarely find anyone researching that name.

Pam, I did find your Neuenkirchen in the same area as my Klatzow in my
German Atlas. I can't tell how far apart they are, but to me in this day
in age I would say they were maybe less than 50 miles apart, I'm just
guessing & I could be very WRONG! I tried to measure & it looks like it
could be 10 kilometers apart. I don't know how many miles that would be.
Is that where your KUHLOW's were from? Sounds like this is getting more &
more promising. I can send you a copy from my Atlas as I paid a high
price for this atlas so I try to get all I can out of it. ...Gerry in

My ancestors' Neuenkirchen was the one near Neu Brandenburg, which I understand would be about 10 miles from Klatzow. I think our Kuhlow families must be related some how.
I have a Meckelnburg Road map but it does not show Klatzow.
