Hello Bodo--thank you for the information and the offer to help. I am looking for the surname LINDAU in the area around Oschersleben (Bode). I am currently looking at the Mormon films from St. Nikolai Kirche in Oschersleben, and found records for the baptisms of my great grandfather and his sister, and the marriage record for their parents. I am thinking that the LINDAU family may have come to Oschersleben from another town, and Asleben might be a possibility.
How close are the towns of Asleben and Alsleben to Oschersleben?
