Hy,
my English is not perfect. But I have a CD produced by Gerald Lee Kisabeth
with all known "Kueschwert to Kisabeth". In German the family comes from the
City WERTHEIM. Arre you interested on the CD please mail your address. The
name is also Kisseberth and changed to others.

My name is KARL J. FRANZ, Scharpenmoor 67, D-22848 Norderstedt Mailaddress

Mr. Franz, hello, this is Gerald writing. I made the CD in 2002. The reason that I am asking how to pronounce our original name "Kisseberth" is that many relatives pronounce it wrong. They say Kiss-e (like the e in the word KEY) birth (like the birth of a child).
Karl, would you please write down the correct German pronounciation for me to show my relatives?
Thanks and best wishes,
Gerald Kisabeth

Hello Gerald,

it is pronounced:
Kiss (like the English word "kiss")
e like the first letter in "enemy" or the e in "bet"
beth like the English "bet", but pronounced a little bit longer

Regards
Reinhard

sorry, I missed the "r" in the last part of the name.

it is near to "birth" but the e is, as I wrote, more like the e in "bet" and the th at the end is pronounced as "t".
