Please forgive me for writing in English but I wish to thank everyone
who contributes to this forum for all the information I have gathered
here. Thanks to a posting by Irmi Gegner-Suenkler I may have discovered
an important link to tracing my Ostpreussen family SPAETH (Labiau &
Memel).
I have read the exchanges about the Kartei Quassowski. I have sent an
application to join the Verein fuer Familienforschung in Ost- und
Westpreussen but I think it will be some time before I get an answer
back to Fiji (Suedpazifik) and can enjoy the benefits of membership.
Therefore, I am asking if any one of you who has the following
publications would be so kind as to check the entries for SPAETH:
Band F, Seite 180
Band S, Seiten 783, 784
Band W, Seiten 11, 228
I read fluent German but I have my problems to write grammatically
correctly!
