Jürgen Heinrich TÖWE in Rothspalck

Dear List Readers,

Please help me find birth or baptism records for Jürgen Heinrich TÖWE, a farmer from Rothspalck, Mecklenburg. He was born about 1721. He married Anna Dorothea KRIWITZ in Klaber on about 1 May 1756. That is my earliest record for him. They were one of the 10 original colonists of Neu Kentzlin, Kreis Demmin where the family lived for many generations. My best guess is that he was born in the area around Rothspalck.

Hi Fred Toewe,

note that Rothspalck was never part of Mecklenburg, but of Western Pommerania.
Now it's part of the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Historically it's
completely different. Thus, you send it to the list for Pommerania.

Actually, I checked our locations database at www.MFPeV.de.
There is no Rothspalck, but the Rothspalk, you are looking for.

Since you mentioned Demmin I wanted to draw your attention to
the possibility with Western Pommerania.
