Josef Ries, born in Rheinzabern, Germany 5 December 1879 moved to
Merseburg, Germany and his family never heard from him again.
I would like to know who he married, did he have any children?
No vital records were found of him up to the year 1930 by the Embassy of
the German Democratic Republic in 1977 in Merseburg.
His parents were Johann Baptist Ries and Veronika Steiner, also born in
Rheinzabern, Germany.
His siblings included: Helene Ries born: 1870, married Gustav Paecht in
New York City, New York
Franz Phillip Ries born: 1873 married
Barbara Steger Lived in Rheinzabern, Germany
Peter Ries born: 1875 married Helene
Sittinger Lived in Rheinzabern and Landau, Germany
Babette Ries born: 1878 married Karl
Ferdinand Abel. They lived in Horrheim, Germany
Thank you.
