As I also have ancestors from Pomerania I can tell you that you will also find the surname "Hauschild" in the area of Cammin in Pomerania. About 1840 and later there were a lot of (old Lutheran) people who emigrated from Pomerania to the USA (like some siblings of my ancestors). So you will need more informations.
