Balthasar kommt aus Deutschland 1839 on den Schiff "Ellesina" ("Allesina"?)zu New
Orleans, Louisiana, dann Missouri.
Seinem bruder ist Johan Conrad Brinker. Er war @1814 Hannover geboren.
Seine Frau war Marie Elizabeth------- @1815 in Hannover geboren. "Conrad" sterben
auch in St. Louis, Missouri in 1900.

the emigration book of the former "Kreise Lingen nach Amerika", located former in the Kingdom of Hannover (today Emsland) listed some Brinker's, but all later than 1839. The next is:
Johann Heinrich Brinker, born 30.March 1829 in Lohe/ parish Thuine
emigrated 1840, parents: Heuermann, Hermann Heinrich Brinker, and Maria Agnes Mollenkamp
The most others Brinkers's are born in parish Emsbühren

I have what I believe are 4 brothers. My information is very scarce. The
local church, census, burial records, etc. did not list an exact birth
location for them, only Hannover. Here is all that I know:
1. Bernard D. Robben b. abt 1817
2. John Herman Robben b. March 1825
3. John Henry Robben b. November 5, 1829
4. George Robben b. abt 1831
They were of the Catholic religion. The first marriage locally was in 1854,
their first born sons were named John Herman and Herman H. They may be
possibly related to another family named FORSTING also listed from Hannover,
thats just a hunch. Their occupations were chair makers, chair manufacturers
and one later was a tailor.
ANYTHING at this point would be helpful!! Thank you for taking the time for
me to look, I truly appreciate it!

The others are not listed. The village Sommeringen is today a part of the town Lingen.
The parish should be Emsbühren. It is a catholioc area.
The book listed also 18 persons named Forsting, mainly parish Emsbühren.

Since Schroeder is a fairly common name, it might be well to add some
more information. Birthdates on the men, religion, where settled in the
U.S.?

Here is more information that I have. Wilhelm C.
Schroder was born 1858 in Hannover, Germany and came
to the USA in 1879. He died in the USA in 1927. Fred
Schroeder was born 1867 in Hannover ,Germany and came
to the USA in 1881. He died in the USA in 1938. These
two were brothers who lived in South East Minnesota
around the Fountain- Chatfield area. Their father was
named Conrad and their mother was Sophia Kohlmeyer.
