By the way, I am just wondering, about a year ago, we started
our forum. Everyone was very enthusiastic about it at first, but
now the activity as very low.. Is there no interest in it anymore ?? http://www.germanyroots.com/phpBB3/
Unfortunately most users don't seem to understand the meaning of a forum.
A forum is 'give and take' as in real life.
Forums are very popular in Germany, and a few of them are absolutely fabulous.
One can ask questions and at the same time feel the obligation to help others, therefore
have a look around the different boards and see what do I know that someone else is
interested in.
In our forum there are many members asking for help which is gladly given by just a few
if they are able to help.
Why not have a look where you could help? Tell others how you went about to find out about
your ancestors, report about your successes and your failures in the 'roots business' as just a
few members have done already.
As nice as it is to receive news from the list, take the effort and visit the forum, perhaps there
is hope yet for it to become more livelier again.
Wolf would certainly deserve this after all the good work he put in.
