Liebe Listen-Mitglieder,
Eine Vorfahrin hieß Maria Anna Isford, getauft 22 März 1784 in Altenberge,
sie ist in Münster ( Ludgeri) am 29. 12. 1862 gestorben, war verheiratet mit
Theodor Bövingklo ( alle Kinder hießen Böckmann). Die vorfahren stammen mit
Sicherheit von Schulze Isford in Altenberge, bez. Loevelingloh. Da ich in
Oberbayern lebe iund nicht mehr die Jüngste bin, habe ich kaum Möglichkeit nach Münster
zu kommen und zu forschen. werde das Gefühl nicht los, daß mit oder auf dem
Schulzenhof um 1800 irgend etwas geschehen ist, aber was. Weiß von Ihnen jemand
etwas ? Bin dankbar für jeden Hinweis

I also am interested in any information regarding names which are
similar to Isfording, Isford, Ysvordinch, etc. Please have a look at
Isphording: origin name and
Unknown Isfording, Isfort, Isfordinck, Ysvordinck, etc
The name Isfording, Isford etc. seems to have been quite common in the
16th and 17th century in the area between Münster and the Netherlands.
I have found several "Dörfer" which had a "Hof" called Isford. Hof
"Schulze Isford" in Altenberge was first recorded in 1176 (Obödienz
Schulze Isfort), at present there is still a family living there
called "Schulze Isfort" !
