Hello,
Most of my ancestors used to live in Lothringen, France, and in Saarland, Germany,
but I have just discovered that one of them, Thomas REINHARD/REINHART ,
son of Frederick REINHARD and Ursula VEIT,
was born circa 1724 very probably in Ippesheim (or maybe is it Ipsheim), two
cities close to Marktbreit, Unterfranken/Mittelfranken, Bayern.
I would like to know if the parish books of these two villages still exist for circa 1724
and before, and if so, where can they be studied (I mean, are they still kept
in the church of the village, or at the regional archive center ?)
