according to my researches in the public record office Barbara Meyer was on the way to Ohio as you told us. I expect further details from the copies of the application of emigration which have not reached me yet.
Furthermore I have got the information that Barabara Meyer was 23 years old in 1857. Althougt it does not fit completely with yours, the probability is very high that this is the same person.
I have to research more about their children in the parish Kirchfarrnbach (Hirschneuses) after the holidays to find more information about them. Your clues will help me much.
I'm afraid according to my infromation L. Schneider is much too young because I found out that he was born in 1817. Maybe there is a mistake in recording.
Unfortunately I go on holiday and will be back on 28th August. So it will take some time to go on reaserching.
