Hello-

I know this is not a genealogical question, so forgive me for asking... I
have lost contact with people I lived with as an exchange student back in the
mid-80's. I would very much like to contact them again. They are Herman and
Gisela Horneber. At that time they live in Isernhagen 1 (Altwarmbüchen), but I
know they moved about 10 years ago. I think they stayed in the same general
area. It would be great if someone could check a local phone book for me.

ps. Still looking for Krieter/Grieter/Griether in Brochthausen. The
Catholic church records for the early 1700's in this area are very limited in their
information, and I am unable to make any clear links. For example: baptism
records don't give parents' names. Any suggestions you could provide would be
appreciated.

As for your Krieter ancestors, have you tried looking at the LDS films for
neighboring towns, like Langenhagen or Hilkerode or even Duderstadt?
