Dear Readers, I just found this site and I hope that someone has an idea on were is the best place to get information on my fathers family. We know that the family spells the last name Scheideman. They were from Dreisden, Germany - along with the Wackers - immigrated from Norka, Russia to the U.S. around 1880. Supposedly, the family 1st settled in Hays, Ks. Later came Breckenridge, Co(where my Grandfather John Louis Scheideman was born) and on to Denver, CO. I would appreciate any assistance. Sincerely, Karen Scheidemen
