How can I get this marriage records:

- January 11, 1896: Honkomp, Henry C to Frederichs, Bella (Sybilla?), license 243713, Cook county

- November 8, 1875: Honkomp, Lawrence to MCNally, Nellie, license 23950, Cook county, Illinois

I found this by www.library.sos.state.il.us

I need parents, date/place of birth, occupation and so on.

Werner; here is the website that tells you all the info you need to order
the marriage records. You download the form and send it in. Looks like you
have all the info they require on the form in order to get it thru the mail.

Most of the marriage records I've seen give very little genealogical
information. Usually they just give names of the bride, groom, presiding
official, witnesses, date and place of marriage. I've found census records
to be more helpful. I looked up census records for Henry and Lawrence
Honkomp and can send you a table of the data personally, if you don't
already have such. I could only find Henry in 1910 and 1920 in Troy Twp.,
Will Co., IL, with wife Sybella. Henry was born in Oldenburg, Germany, about
1853-4 (from 1910 record; in 1920 age is not legible). He was a cigarmaker
in 1910, working out of his home. Lawrence was easier to find. He was born
in Ohio about 1850-1851. In 1910 in Chicago he was a metallurgist for a
smelter and refinery.

thank you for the information. I would be very grateful if you can send the table of the census records.
I have a died record of a Henry Honkomp at November 17, 1921 in Troy TWP, I think he the same and this is what I try to find.

I have also died records of:
- Honkomp Anton, died July 25, 1919 Joliet Will county, Illinois
- Honkomp Carolina, died March 07, 1922 Springfield Sangamo county, Illinois
- Honkomp John, died May 01,1940 Chicago Cook county
- Honkomp Rose C., died December 27, 1947 Joliet Will county (a daughter of Henry?)

Have you for this persons any census records too?
