the spelling is correct. The family came from Lohne. Now you can find it on our page www.auswanderer-oldenburg.de. There were more children so I believe there were more emigrants from this couple. One son emigrated in 1846. Do you have the passenger list from 1839? Are there more emigrants from this family? Do you have more informations about August, a wife and children? We would be proud to present it on our page!
