HILGENDORF at Steinhagen, Grubenhagen Parish

Dear Cheryl,

Thank you so much for the tip on "Kirch" Grubenhagen. No wonder it didn't
show up on the FHC catalog. You are very helpful!

Sincerely,
Katherine

Hi Katherine, perhaps you still dont have these dates?
Perhaps you can use them in future.

Seems that 1751 (Beichtkinderverzeichnis of Franz Schubert) there were no
members of Hilgendorf family in Steinhagen:
But:
- parish Ivenack, village of Grischow: in the household of the farmer Hans
Schumacher is living Maria Dorothea Hilgendrps. (o-umlaut, the female form)
- parish of Neukalen, village of Schlakendorf: in the household of the
forester Nicolaus Stolt is living the menial Johann Hilgendorf
- parish of Gnoien, village of Bobbien : Pensionarius (tenant): Friedrich
Hillgendorf and shepherd Johann Bastian (no more people of 14 years)

No more Hilgendorf over 14 years in the Beichtkinderverzeichnis. The
parishes are not complete nowadays so theres still the possibility that
there were more people with the name in Mecklenburg.

Hope this will help a little bit.
Yours,
Heike

es waere ja fast ein Wunder, wenn es nicht eine Verbindung HILGENDORF mit
SUSEMI(E)(H)L gaebe. Hier unten ist sie.
