Hi,
I have an ancestor who traveled on the ship "Miles". I tried to find
it on Google, etc., but can find no mention of it. The trip from
Hamburg to New York was made in 1851. Does anyone know of any sites
which might have some information on that particular ship?
Thanks,
Becky
Hello Becky, Carola, et al:
Under the heading of EMIGRATION there are hundreds of excellent
websites to choose from. Here are just two of them:
< Yahoo | Mail, Wetter, Suche, Nachrichten, Finanzen, Sport & mehr > , and
< Free Ships' Passenger Lists to USA, Canada, England, Australia >.
I myself emigrated from my hometown HAMBURG per ship back in 1951. If I
remember correctly the name of the ship was SOUTHERN STAR.
Tschuess !

But there is no ship named Miles.
