Hi, As the others have said that must be where I saw the name Heiser

Did you try the handbuch?. I will run it again and see what I get.
Was Mary's name Mary Ligle His mother being Obricht. I didn't find much else. But if I do I will let you know. that morman film I mentioned was based on Meyer. I think I mentioned I never finnished it. Have you tried the cemeteries of that region. I had the sites awhile back, but have them put away.
Some of them mention the region they came from.

My Korn was actually from Gross Thondorf. I did not know My Seil lived there too. But when Maria Elisbeth Seil married in Iowa the marriage papers said she was from Silesia.? Of course when her father married the papers said it was his first marriage. So One can't go by that especially.

I got distracted by beautyful Blogs today. I have been thinking of using them to put My genealogical information into instead of webpages. So I was browsing a few. I wonder if it is used by others as well.
Goodnight
jo

Thanks to Jo Meyer and all others for their responses. The Heinrich

HEISER I am researching actually goes back a generation from the Heiser
that married Liegel-I already have all the family info there, for this
generation were all born in America. FYI: the info found on sites such as
Rootsweb, WorldConnect, etc, confuses these 2 generations and is
incorrect.

I have already also researched OBRECHT in Switzerland, and have the family
home for them there, but need to find Heinrich's birthplace in Hannover.
I know I must have that before I can do any research in Germany, (my
research on these families began more than 25 years ago).

Most all of the suggestion received, I have already done. Hans Peter's
suggestion re: Braunschweig is a possiblility to pursue as is
Wolfenbuetttal. Thanks again to all.
