Hi Bob,
Well, I did not find your people, but here are a few more suggestions.
Maybe you have already checked these, but hope this has helped.
Happy hunting! Marilyn Ruhe Wethington

Between 1792 to Dec 1800, there is 1 Klosterman girl baptism/birth.
In 1801, there is a Klosterman boy baptism/birth - (can't read first
name) Josephus Klosterman with parents Joannes Bernardus Klosterman &
Lucia Maria Bu?k.
Note, on this film, the pages for baptisms/births between this time
period are erratic. Some are difficult to read and a few are in a
different section.
Details for the one Klosterman girl born in this period:
page 8, July 8, 1794 (not sure if this is birth or baptismal date)
child - Maria Elisabeth Klosterman

I know there was a Klosterman farm in Lushe(u with umlaut).
So far, I have not noticed a Wichman name in these sections of the
Vestrup records.
Besides the other areas in Oldenburg, here is yet another area you
could look into....
Based on a posting on worldconnect and the proximity to this area, you
may want to consider posting your questions on the Hannover newsgroup
also. [1]hannover-l - genealogy.net
I don't know if this will help, but there is a pedigree tree posted on
worldconnect at
[2]http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=PED&db=haverhill
_iowa&id=I27502
It must be related to the family mentioned in the 2013/02/13 email of
Kathy Casey. In this pedigree there are Wichmans and Klostermans. So,
two families with these names in this area did know each other.
Although not yours, notice that the Wichman from Germany was born 1815
in Twistringen, Grafschaft Hoya, Hanover, Preuen. Maybe his family is
related to yours.
Another strategy would be to do a thorough search of as many American
records that you can get for your people. Make a list of all possible
records in the US for the times they lived in. Then look for them. You
may get lucky like I did once and find the birthplace village/town and
parents' names in an obscure record.....
