Hello members,
I'm looking for my ancestors a long way back and a long way from home.
According to an old genealogy from my grandmother, Andries Herfst (as he
called himself in Dutch) was born around 1719 in Danzig. He moved to
Amsterdam, where he married a Lena Bos in 1744. He was with the
Lutherian church in Holland.
I know it's not much, but maybe there's anyone outthere who can help me.
I tried to look at some Polish archive sites, but only to find out I
don't speak a word Polish.
