I have requested and received information 2-22-2003 regarding Henry Stage (Johann Heinrich Stagge) born in Hannover on 29 Aug 1830 and emigrated to NY in 1851. However, now I have a town name for his birth, Drehle. I'm still looking for a record of his birth.

Hi Susan,
There are the towns of Klein Drehle and Gross Drehle near Bersenbrück.
The LDS have some Catholic church records for that area. They have some
duplicate records--but they are very incomplete.
I wouldn't know if the people from there may have gone to church in
Bersenbrück. The LDS have some incomplete church records from some
Evangelical Church Records in Bersenbrück.
Maybe there is another Drehle but I can't find it on mapquest or in my
autoatlas of Germany.
