Hi Doreen,
Did I ever suggest that you try the church books from Rehna,
Mecklenburg-Schwerin. There are soooo many Runges in these books I can't
tell you if yours are there or not. Ours are Lutheran, and we have found
generations going back into the 15 or 16 hundreds.
It's amazing how many Joachims there are in these books. Maybe you can find
yours.

to go about
getting this information from these books in Rehna that you mention below.
Our Runge"s were definite evangical Lutheran,according to all census we have
found.
We like and appreciate your direction you suggested.

L.D.S. centers have been a great source of information plus sites like
yours on the internet but we have been unsuccesful in finding info from
Germany or immigration
According to family knowledge passed down . 4 brothers +family with two
brothers
entering Canada. so immigration to U.SA might be earlier
Any information to birth area would be greatfull towards a successfull
family tree
