My husband read your notice on the Message Board. I don't know whether the Henrietten Stift was a Kinderheim, but I know that it was a school. I was a student there from 1959 till 1963.
To the best of my knowledge the Henrietten Stift was always a " Diakonissen Mutter Haus," and I would think that the Lutheran Church would have some information about the Stift as to it's beginning in their archives. In my days the Stift had also a Hospital attached, as well as an " Alterheim " in Kirchrode. All Institutions were run by the " Mutterhaus" .
