I have a name Johannes Schuster b. 4/29/1807 Hassloch; arrived US abt 1853 with wife Anna (Rieger) and children Jacob, Phillip and Barbara. They settled in St. Clair Co. Ill. If this happens to be similar I'll be glad to help; but there are so many Johannes Schusters.
Thank you for contacting me in regards to the Schuster's. This may be part of the family, however the Johan Schuster that was the originator of my branch of the family tree in the USA came here in 1750 and settled in New Jersey. I had seen this Johan Schuster you cited and I believe he came to this country from Germany and thus would have to have been direct. Thank you again, Leslie Shuster
