I have noticed recent postings on the surname BASSE and I am wondering if
anyone out there can help me with my BASSE ancestors. My earliest known ancestor
is Johan Friedrich BASSE married 23 February 1770 at Evangelisch
Joellenbeck, Westfalen, Preussen to Anna Margaret Marie Elisabeth KAMPP. Their
son,Johann Heinrich BASSE (my 4th great grandfather) married Anna Margarethe Ilsabein
NIEDERLOHMANNS,21 October 1798 at Schildesche,Westfalen,Preussen. I don't
know if there could be any connection to the previous postings as I am not
sure if they are close geographically. Any information would be greatly
appreciated. I find all postings on the list interesting,but can't really read
them.
