I am searching for relatives in Hamburg Hannover areas, my great grandad emigrated to England married here in 1853 aged 29 yrs so possible date of birth is 1824.
His name was Cort, Cordt, Cord, Hinrich Tewes, or Thewes
or Teves I have found some Tewes from Elstorf is that near Hamburg ? he was Protestant Religion I think, if any one can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
