Uta: Thank you very much for the information. I'll check the LDS site for
Falkenhagen and see what I can find. My great grandfather Henry has always been
a big mystery to us. His daughter (my grandmother) would never talk about
the past, so all we could find out was that he immigrated in 1872 around the age
of 17. That was it! He ended up settling in Detroit Michigan and married
Wilhelmina Hoeft. They are both buried there.
Wouldn't it be interesting if the widow who immigrated in 1876 was also
related?
