I am trying to find ancestors of HEINRICH REIPKE & family who lived in
Gifhorn. Here is the information on the family:
HEINRICH REIPKE born 5 December 1798
LENA (HELENE) his wife born 1813 or 1815
CHARLES REIPKE, son born 21 April 1837
DORA REIPKE, daughter born 3 June 1840
FREDERICK REIPKE, son born 19 January 1847
CAROLINE REIPKE who married ? Grottowa & did not come to USA
MAGDALINA REIPKE who married ? Kasselbuth & did not come to USA
The family except for Caroline & Magdalina came to USA in 1851 or 1852.
Caroline & Magdalina were supposed to have been adopted in Germany.
This family attended German Lutheran Churches in the USA.
