Hi Rose:
I may have responded to your note on Hartwig before,
but with so much e-mail it is hard to keep track. Well
here goes: One of my grandfathers sisters (Sophia
Bosche) married Carl F. Hartwig. His home town was
Hemsen Amt. Nienburg Hannover. He was born 12-7-1846.
His parents were Frederick and Dora Hartwig. There
were nine children. Ernst, Marie, Frederick, Louise,
Henry, Carl, Herman, George and Anna.
