Harnick/mickel or michel

Dear List,

I have very little information regarding these two people, who are my
great-great grandparents. Family stories have them coming from someplace
very north, close to the Russian border.

Johann Harnick born 1823 Mecklenburg, Germany
Fredericka Mickel born 1825 Mecklenburg, Germany daughter of Fredrick
Mickel (listed on her Death Certificate)
also called Rachel Mickel or Michel

They emigrated to Canada sometime between 1845 and 1855 as their oldest
son was born in 1855 in Ontario, Canada.

Any information would be very appreciated.

Dear List,

My Great-Great Grandfather Karl Grabentin immigrated to Ohio in 1867
from Mecklenburg-Strelitz. He was married to Caroline Holls in 1873,
she was from Mecklenburg-Schwerin, unknown when she immigrated.

I am waiting on their death certificates from Ohio, however any info
would be appreciated.
