Hello. I follow posts here daily as I continue to search for descendants
of my mother's family. I have not been able to find any of them, although
my grandmother was in touch with them by mail into the 1970's. We know
that my grandfather, Karl Hans (b. 1902) came to the US with his wife,
Martha Bayer Hans (b. 1903) in 1925. Each of them had families that stayed
in Krefeld, & Martha returned there to visit until about 1960.
Carl's siblings were Friedrich Hans (married Christie or Christle), & Rudy
Hans (married Trudy, son Hans)
Martha's (b. 1903) siblings were Elly Bayer (married Max Rother, children
Gertrude & Reinhardt), & Friedrich Bayer (married Frieda Jentges, daughter
Ulla b. 1930's). Friedrich died in the war in the 1940's.
Other married names associated with Bayer are Kohler, Fucht & Wuncsch.
I would be most grateful for any help locating living relatives of these
families, or any other information about their history.
