Thanks so much! I'm going to be looking for those books.
Gügelmeyer is such an unusual name and the spelling doesn't mean
much. In one marriage record, the bride was listed as Kuegelmeyer and her
brother, the witness, was named Gügelmeyer. That same brother was listed
in one census in Iowa as Kuegelmeyer and ten years later as Geogelmeyer. I
think I've counted at least 12 different ways to spell that name!
