people who are related to a Christian Schmidt born 1765 Mehlkemen,Stalupoenen,Ostpreussen,Preussen.He married Anna Lousia Naujokat on Feb 1791.
His fathers name may be Gottfried Schmidt married to Gertraud Hofer.
They had seven kids:

I am related by Christian Schmidt B:1799.He married Ann Dorothea Mann in 1828.
He was a Militar Cavalry Soldier in the Prussian Army.
Records from Leipzig says this came from the Schmidt Family Records.I can not find this any where.The film number is DZfG Leipzig AS 2303 S. 72/36
