Hi David and hi to anyone else it may concern
some food for thought:
you may wish this list to be whatever you want, but I
am wondering whether you know at all how much
Adalbert Goertz has already and is continually
contributing to genealogy and on which level.
Apart from that he has shown himself to be helpful
and knowledgeable in precisely what this list is about;
obtaining, exchanging information, giving hints,
helping you to find out things for yourself, checking
out whether he or anybody else for that matter is right
or wrong.
If you read the e-mails correctly you will find that the
statement that you seem to take offense to is part of
his address. I do not think that you should lay down
the law of what people may or may not wish to make
part of their address.
Do you want to discuss his statements, please do so
to him personally. Do you not want to read his
statement, don't go to his address, you know it's
there.
A bit of advice: you may even find it well worth you
time to occsionally accept something you do not agree
with or do not like for you may in return get
information, learn something or even expand your
horizon.
