Thank you. I will see if the Mormons have filmed Gerdau or Eimke. They
have not filmed Ebstorf.

I have already written to several Rieckmanns in Ebstorf and Uelzen, but
they didn't know anything about my g-grandfather.

Mona,
     From the LDS website, I do not see any of the towns that are of
interest to you that have been filmed.

     HOWEVER, I suggest that you look at this site:

     http://meta.genealogy.net/index.jsp
From there do a search for Rieckmann and you will find the name with both
Stadorf and Ebsdorf. I believe you can request further information from
there. Maybe it will lead to what you are looking for.

There has been published a good history about Eimke some years ago. Perhaps some
of your people olayed a local role, so one can get further this way. i tell you
the title next time I come along the library I have seen it. Hans Peter Albers
