GROBE in Linden, RIECKMANN in Stadorf

Hi,
I have a new lead on my great-grandparents, with the finding of a
marriage record in Ebstorf.
Margarethe _Elisabeth_ WOLLE married Heinrich _Christoph_ GROBE in 1863.

Christoph was the son of unmarried Maria Magdalene Dorothee Grobe and
Christoph Rieckmann, Dienstknecht at Stadorf.

My source for information in Ebstorf says there is no record of this
GROBE or RIECKMANN in the Ebstorf district. Does anyone have any
suggestions for getting information from Stadorf?

Thanks!
Mona

Stadorf and Ebstorf are today the same parish region, means the churches in
Ebstorf are also for those in Ebstorf. If that has been different in the past,
Stadorf might have belonged to Gerdau or Eimke, which are as far from Linden and
Stadorf as Ebstorf is. Adresses:

Gerdau: Ev-Luther. Kirche, Hauptstr.14, 29581 Gerdau, Tel. 05808 244
Eimke: Ev.Luther. Kirche, Twiete 1, 29578 Eimke, Tel. 05873 241

So far just by knowing local situations. There had been a hint for a web-site to
find out the right church for a given place at a given time these days on the
list, but cannot find back. Sorry, hope you can find the films with the Mormons.
Greetings Hans Peter Albers

P.S.: Found three Rieckmann in Ebstorf in 1995, one of them in Stadorf, Stadorf
was in administrational sight subsummarized under Schwienau and that to Ebstorf.

This is a website that shows the churches in that area and what records are
available. I don't know if this is what Hans Peter mentioned. It doesn't
really mention the little villages.

Still not found back and still not quite sure of my remembrance, but the site, I
mean, should be driven by the Kirchenbuchamt in Hannover and was combined with
that topic "Kirchenbuch". Meanwhile I found at least an e-mail-address - perhaps
there hasn't been anything more than this - where one may ask, if a special film
for a special place and a special time is there.

              E-mail: Kirchenbuch.staki.hannover@evlka.de

Hope a bilingual query will clear the belonging of Stadorf Hans Peter Albers
