There were Grave families living West of Sioux Falls, SD near Hartford,
SD. My grandparents were friends of their's. Look in Minnehaha County,
South Dakota for information on them.

Dear List members,

I am also interested in the Grave family as my gggrandmother was Antoinette
Marie Caroline Grave who on 2 October 1851 married Johann Friedrich Carl
Daniel, a merchant from Bederkesa. Antoinette Marie Caroline Grave was the
daughter of Mr Gebhard Carl Heinrich Grave, a merchant from Gronau. I am
told that Gronau is a town located on theLeine River about 10 miles (16km)
southwest of the city of Hannover.

Does anyone know anything at all of the Grave family from this area?

I saw previous information on the Grave family, but missed the signifinance
of it as my understanding of German in not so good and I was concentrating
elsewhere at the time.
