My grandmother, Anna Jagau, was born May 20, 1875 in Luhnde, Kreis, Hildesheim,Provinz, Hanover, Germany,. From a bible, it was recorded her father was August Jagau and mother Sophie. Sophie died Feb 7, 1919 but I don't know where. Grandmother Anna came over approx 1895 (from census records). Thank you for asking. I would appreciate any help.
There was a farmer family Jagau in Wätzum, today area of Algermissen,
administrative district Hildesheim. The last name doesn't give it in Wätzum
any more. However, there are numerous descendants.
