Gottin

Dear Listmembers,
I may have posed this question before...does anyone know if the Manor of Gottin (or perhaps Estate is a better term) was at one point part of Tellow? My great great great grandfather emigrated to the US in the 1850's and was born in Gottin around 1827, and I believe the manor house (in Gottin) was built later. I was just curious if Gottin was ever managed as part of Von Thunen's estate. My understanding is that Gottin was under the management of Richard Parish, but that was after the time that my family was there.

Hopefully I am not confusing things... thanks for your help.

" google" says. Teterow is the city nearby Gottin. This manor house is one
hotel now. It has a homepage. Unfortunately it is only in German.

Perhaps it helps a little.

Ich hatte die moeglichkeit seit einige Jahren um die Ort Gottin zu besuchen, und auch die Kirche in Warnkenhagen. Leider fand ich nich viele Auskunft uber die Geschichte des Orts. Aber seit dann, ich habe die Volkszahlung fur Gottin von 1819 gelesen. Und ich war neugierig um zu wissen wer war die Rittergut besitzer vor Richard Parish.
