Goslar: Local Geography Help please

I have obtained a 1936 postcard of Goslar: "Goslar am Harz. Blick
auf Marktkirche, Kaiserhaus und im Herzberger Tal."

It is a view of Marktkirche (centre), Emperor's palace (centre
right), and (presumably) the slopes of the Herzberg (background).

I have placed the postcard in a photogallery at;

Could someone please tell me about Herzberg (the mountain)...
including what is the relation between Herzberg (the mountain) and
Herzberg (the village), which is also in the Harz region?

i live in the Harz Mountain. I think it is the best you get in contact
