there is no place "Leadwich" in Germany, not near Hannover, not near Dresden. But there are lots of places near Dresden whose names end on "...witz" . So it is more likely that you are looking for a place "L...witz".
There ist a former village called "Lockwitz" which is part of Dresden today and not far away from the Elbe-River. Perhaps that is the place you are looking for.
