My 2nd Great-Grandfather was Johann Ehrenfried Baudisch. He
married Christiane Fredericke Wilhemine Kahl. They married in Lauban
Sch. between Sept.28, and Oct. 12th,1829. They had eight(8) children,
some born in Lauban, the others in Goldberg,Sch. My Great-Grandmother
was the firstborn; she was Berta Wilhemine Auguste Baudisch, b. July 24,
1830 in Lauban. She married Franz(?) Kirschke. Her surviving brothers
were 1)Friedrich August Wilhelm, b. Dec. 27,1834 in Lauban 2) Traugott
Librecht Ottomar, b. Jan.17,1841 in Goldberg. Two brothers died very
young and were buried at St. Nicolas(Nikolai Cemetery) Goldberg. Two
sisters survived: 1) Albertine Mathilde Amalie, b. Nov. 19,1831 and
Natalie Emilie Alwine, b. June 28, 1838.
Johann Ehrenfried Baudisch was also Editor of the Goldberger
Stadt-Blatt in 1858 and was apparently an artist as was his son "Otto".
Any help or suggestions on how to find the descendants of this
family will be truly appreciated. Regards,
