Hello,
the 'Gode' or 'de Gode' family name was frequent in the parishes of Holle
and Hude. For both parishes there is no family book available yet.
Bits and pieces about these families have been published as follows:
1. 'Das Wuestenland' by Heinrich Munderloh, Holzberg Verlag, 1981
2. Tax registers and 'Weinkauf Protokolle' in our 'yellow series' (see OGF
Internet Shop) - Nr. 1, 12, 16, 19 and 40. However, no. 1, 12 an 16 are
already sold out.
