My name is David Matzen and am searching for information about Joseph Matzen and
Emma Gietzen. Joseph was married to Emma Gietzen. Emma was born January 1, 1873
and died March 17, 1954. Her father was John Peter Gietzen born in Germany
(Prussia). Joseph Matzen was a son of Nicholas Matzen (1844-1917) and Mary Ann
Wagner (1847-1932). Nicholas is my great grandfather. I am trying to find the
city or town of Nicholas' birth in Germany and perhaps it was near the Gietzen
family in Germany.
