Could someone please translate this for me. I see the name MULLER in the
subject line and I'm researching that family from Stockstadt, Aschaffenburg.
Which brings up another question - can I receive these emails in English?

the places Stockstadt-Aschaffneburg and Wei�enbach near Brunn are so far
from each other apart that any relationship is nearly impossible. Selb ins
in Bavaria and Stockstadt in Hessen. Please look at a German map.
Are you researching the name MULLER or MUELLER (U Umlaut) ? This is quite
different and very important to mention.
You will find some thousands of Mueller in the German phone guide.
My suggestion is: Ask in the Hesse-List but add the data of a person.
Otherwise nobody will react on your request.
Is the Wilmington you live at the westcoast and very close to Canada? If
yes, I have delivered Oil with a tanker to the pier there in earlier days.

Thank you so much for replying to my query. MUELLER is the name I'm
searching for plus WIENAND. Lorenz Mueller (1795-1852) had 2 daughters:
Sophia (b. 25 Jul 1826) and Magdelena (b. 1835). Both girls married in
Germany and immigrated to the US (Philadelphia, Pa). Sophia is my gg
grandmother.
I am very new at researching my German ancestors, so every tip I receive is
appreciated.
Wilmington, NC is on the east coast half way between New York and
Florida.

I gave your query to the Hesse-List. Stockstadt is about 1 km from Hessen an
d is in Bavaria.
I think you looked it up in your atlas.
Whom of the WIENAND are you researching?
I found Wilmington NC on my atlas.
In that town I never have been.

If you research in Germany, please remember that the people here want to
know more about their forefathers and not only the data. So we think usually
that the remark 1795-1852 absolutely poor. But you may use the day, the
month and the year and the place if you know it.
The profession is a very welcome addition. One may find a lott of people
with their profession. Handcrafters registers etc.
We have NOT any other registers

Where and when and whome did the two girls marry?
Your gggrandmother married and you will perhaps know the name of your
gggrandfather. So we have the name of the spouse of Sophia then?
When did thwe immigrate. Do you know the ships name and the travelling data.
From which port in Europe to which port in USA: Do you have old letters or
postcards where we may find more about their life?
(The historical and family researcher wants to help you and and others and
thes are glad if thea can learn from that. If they get some new results,
that will be the thank for them.)
In Germany we don�t have open registers like the Census in the USA. So you
have to look in church books etc.
Did you look if there are films of the Mormonsin you nearest Mormon research
center.
Researching in Germany means to learn the old German writing. The writing of
your forefathers. But you may ask somebody to translate and read the German
for you. After that you may add attachments to that person.
Remember, that not all Germans are able to read the old scripts.
I am researching in Hessen but not in the river Main area. (Stockstadt am
Main)

your questions in English.
