Hello everyone!
I am searching for a birth certificate for Gertrude Scharpey born 18th October 1901. She married an English man in 1920 (William Daltrey) and died in 1995.
To cut a long story short she left my great-grandfather c. 1924 after having two sons. We have only just found out that she died only eleven years ago just recently as she was presumed to be dead (my grandfather was told she had died in childbirth.) As I said it's a long story!
All the Scharpey's I have found have been located in Westfalen but I do not have a town or anything. Any ideas or help would be gratefully appreciated!
