German's to America on line

Thanks for the info on German's to America thru NARA. I had not used this section before.
It is a new tool to use in my searches for my Kielhorn family. I found a person Maria Voss age 54 on ship Doctor Barth , arrived 19 Nov 1860 that was listed as a GRASS WIDOW. What's that?
Don't think this is one I am looking for. My Maria Voss was born either 1798 or 1804 in Germany.
Her husband Carl Kielhorn b?, d. 20 Dec 1855 in Germany. So she probably came to US after that. They had four sons Christian b. 1824, William b. 1830, Henry b.1831 and August b. 1835 and all settled in Indiana.

Thanks to all and Barbie and Barbara especially for the HELP.

Hello Howard,

I've been looking for Maria Voss. I think this will say something about
her. It is from:

However, I think we saw this before! Yes? I'm sending it anyway.

Testament Carl Kielhorn, gest. am 20.12.1855 in Marienrode
Enthält:

u.a. Erben:
Ehefrau, Marianne (Maria Anna) Kielhorn, geb. Voss, aus Bockenem, in
Marienrode
Sohn, Christian Kielhorn in Evansville in Nordamerika
Sohn, Wilhelm Kielhorn aus Verden
Sohn, Heinrich Kielhorn in Amerika
Sohn, August Kielhorn in Seesen

I'm afraid this is nothing new. Do you have access to a LDS center? There
are some microfiche for those places. They are both near Hildesheim as I
recall.
