I thought you and the rest of this list should be filled in on a recent message I sent Klaus. (Hi, Kaus.)
I wanted you to know that I sent him a copy of the page he wanted showing the Vahlburgh family of Fred, Ida and Gretchen in the 1930 US Census. It filled in the missing information that Ida and Gretchen were born in Wisconsin. Ida had German born parents. Fred arrived in the US in 1892 and his first marriage was at age 45. Fred was a machinist, while Gretchen was a millner.
I also searched Ancestry.com in the 1920 census for this Vahlbruch family too and found nothing - soundex searches and searches for first names didn't produce anything.
Maybe others can continue with the inquiries to help get Klaus's search further along.
